En plein air sketch of Batiquitos Lagoon in Northern San Diego painted with the San Diego Plein Air Painters. This lovely, tranquil lagoon is abundant with painting subject matter. The scenic 600-acre coastal wetland and marine conservation area has many graceful trees aligning the water including Live Oaks, Willows, Western Sycamores, Cottonwoods and Torrey Pines. It is also an important bird estuary and stopover for migratory birds.

All in all, a wonderful place to paint plein air!
